Are you ready??

With all of the hurricanes and tropical storms we have incurred lately, we th0ught it might be a good time to discuss emergency/disaster preparedness. In years past, we could prepare for certain emergencies, like hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, and others. We knew what to expect IF we lived in a certain area or it was during a specific time of year that these disasters were prevalent.

Now, it seems like global warming has changed all of that. We get hit with storms during odd times of the year and mother nature is not biased by location either. So those of us who used to think "it would never happen here or to me", can't really count on that anymore. And even if we are prepared, chances are we haven't thought out an emergency plan that includes our furbaby(s).
